Abby Strong Classic – Driving Hope for Childhood Dementia

The Abby Strong Classic is more than a game of golf; it is a gathering of hope and a rally for those facing Niemann-Pick Disease Type C. Inspired by Abby's journey with this form of childhood dementia, we invite you to hit the course for a cause that matters. Together, we are driving critical funds toward research and advocacy, navigating the road to a cure with strength and purpose.

Our Story

Abby outdoors

Abby is a vibrant girl with a smile that captures the heart of everyone she meets. However, her life is defined by a brave battle against Niemann-Pick Disease Type C (NPC)—a rare genetic disorder often referred to as childhood dementia. NPC is a progressive condition with no known cure, gradually affecting Abby’s ability to walk, talk, and maintain her independence. The Abby Strong Classic was created to turn this journey of uncertainty into a powerful movement of community and hope.

Our Impact in Virginia

AbbyStrong Fights NPC works tirelessly across Virginia to raise awareness and advocate for families facing the weight of childhood dementia. We provide direct support and resources while funding critical research to find a cure. Every swing at the Classic helps us move closer to a future where NPC no longer limits the lives of the children we love.
